Showing one of my films at the moment!
“Surface is proud to introduce Surface Shorts, an exhibition of contemporary video work featuring over 20 international emerging film makers, artists and animators.
The Gallery will be transformed into a screening space showing a selection of contemporary video works from 14th - 27th April. Featuring narrative, documentary, performance, installation, animation and music video this diversely curated exhibition programme aims to playfully investigate the spectrum of the moving image medium. Filmmakers hail from across the U.K and as far afield as South Korea, Russia, Greece, India, Ireland and the U.S.A.
The exhibition is open daily Tuesday to Saturday over the two week period. With a special screening evening taking place on Thursday 21st April, where we’ll be inviting a selection of the participating artists to reveal more about their video practice followed by a feature screening.”
This is the recent digital piece made by my good friend Tom Sansome. Its seems every time I pop my head around to see what he’s up to he is busy making a new intriguing website for the world to visit. This is a webcam set up in the place he is currently working in. He seems to be interested in the banality of many people lives, the workplace and deconstructing the cliched people who work there.
Check it out although right now all I can see is cars going by.

This is nick o’reardon. He is really good at doing branding and logos and stuff and we (Vanilla Galleries) would be looking like a woman institute from the 50’s without his cool poster, logos and website thinkings. He has just redone his website and if you need someone to do any logo’ing, branding, websiting then he is you man!
